Your Key Worker

Your Key Worker is your main point of contact during your time at Cressex Lodge. They’ll meet with you privately at least once a week to help plan your week ahead. Together, you’ll create a plan that covers things like your:

• Education

• Activities and hobbies

• Appointments

• Personal goals (also called "outcomes")

Your Key Worker is there to support you with whatever you need—whether it’s clothing money, help attending a meeting, or just someone to talk to. They’ll also be by your side during care planning meetings, school discussions, and any time you need a bit of extra support. You can rely on them to help you stay on track and feel heard.

The Staff Team

The staff team at Cressex Lodge is here to care for you and help you feel safe, supported, and settled. We understand that living in a children’s home is different from living with your family, and our role is to support you during your stay in whatever way you need.

Staff are available from morning until night to help with everyday things like:

• Getting ready for the day

• Going to school or college

• Taking part in activities

• Developing hobbies and interests

• Supporting your emotional and physical well-being

Some staff will help you build important life skills like cooking, cleaning, and shopping especially if you're preparing to live more independently in the future. Others can support you with your health needs, including access to a psychologist if needed.

Management Team

We also have a Manager and a Deputy Manager who make sure everything runs smoothly. They’re responsible for ensuring you have the right support, care plans, and resources in place. Their job is to make sure you’re well looked after and that your needs are being met.
